Abstract: a lens device includes a movable frame movable in an extending direction of an optical axis, a first driving unit that drives the movable frame, and a restriction mechanism that restricts movement of the movable frame. the restriction mechanism includes a rotational movement member rotationally movable between a first position and a second position around a rotational axis extending in the extending direction, a first engagement portion that is provided at one of the movable frame or the rotational movement member and is elastically deformed, and a second engagement portion that is provided at the other of the movable frame or the rotational movement member and is engaged with the first engagement portion. at the first position, the first and the second engagement portions are separated from each other. at the second position, the first and the second engagement portions are engaged with each other, while being deformed.
