HYDROGEN LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM, HYDROGEN LEAK DETECTION METHOD, AND HYDROGEN TRANSPORT PIPELINE CAPABLE OF HYDROGEN LEAK DETECTION

Abstract: a hydrogen leak detection system may be provided via: an optical fiber unit disposed along a length direction of a hydrogen transport pipeline that includes an optical fiber for detecting hydrogen leaking from a transport inner pipe of the hydrogen transport pipeline, and a protection layer surrounding the optical fiber; a hydrogen detection unit including an optical signal generator providing an optical signal to the optical fiber, and a detection unit for detecting optical characteristics of the optical fiber; and a control unit that determines that hydrogen is leaking from the hydrogen transport pipeline when the optical characteristics of the optical fiber are determined to exceed a normal optical characteristics range.
