AXIAL ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARING

Abstract: an axial active magnetic bearing includes a rotating shaft, a magnetic yoke, a permanent magnet, a magnetic barrier structure and an electromagnetic coil. the rotating shaft includes a main shaft and a thrust plate; first and second air gaps with a projected area size having an error smaller than 5% are formed between the magnetic yoke and the thrust plate; the permanent magnet is provided on the magnetic yoke, and a third air gap is formed between the thrust plate and the permanent magnet; a permanent magnet magnetic flux is formed between the permanent magnet and the magnetic yoke; the magnetic barrier structure is provided on the magnetic yoke and positioned in the path of the permanent magnet magnetic flux, the permanent magnet magnetic flux is passed through the barrier structure, the first air gap and the third air gap; the electromagnetic coil is provided in a magnetic yoke chamber.
