EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION, PREPREG, AND FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL

Abstract: disclosed is a resin composition comprising an epoxy resin, wherein a cured resin obtained by curing the epoxy resin composition at a temperature of 180� c. for 2 hours exhibits a thermal diffusivity at 25� c. as measured in accordance with astm e1461-01(2001) of 0.17 mm/s or more and less than 0.30 mm/s, and a char generation rate at 600� c. under air of 20% or more and less than 50%. the present invention provides an epoxy resin composition capable of obtaining a cured resin having high char generation effect and thermal conductivity as well as excellent mechanical properties by curing, and a prepreg and a fiber reinforced composite material having excellent fire resistance each using the same.
