HIGHLY FUNCTIONALIZED STABLE HYDROCARBYLOXYSILYL POLYDIENES AND POLYDIENE COPOLYMERS

Abstract: a polymeric composition comprising a plurality of functionalized polymers, where the plurality includes monohydrocarbyloxysilyl-functionalized polydienes and/or polydiene copolymers and dihydrocarbyloxysilyl-functionalized polydienes and/or polydiene copolymers, the polymeric composition having an aged mooney (ml@100� c.) of about 40 to about 105, where greater than 60 mole percent of polymer within the polymeric composition are functionalized, and where plurality includes about 15 to about 70 mole percent of the plurality of functionalized polymers are monohydrocarbyloxysilyl-functionalized polydienes and/or polydiene copolymers with the balance including dihydrocarbyloxysilyl-functionalized polydienes and/or polydiene copolymers.
