Abstract: the invention provides antibodies which bind human ceacam5 protein, as well as isolated nucleic acids and host cells comprising a sequence encoding said antibodies. the invention also provides immunoconjugates comprising said antibodies linked to a growth-inhibitory agent, and pharmaceutical compositions comprising antibodies or immunoconjugates of the invention. the invention also provides use of the antibodies, immunoconjugates and pharmaceutical compositions of the invention for the treatment of cancer or for diagnostic purposes.
