Abstract: the present disclosure provides a tetrabromophthalic anhydride diamine siloxane. in an embodiment, a tetrabromophthalic anhydride diamine siloxane (tds) is provided with the structure of formula (1) formula (1) wherein n is an integer from 1 to 40; and each r is the same or different and each r is independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, and a c-chydrocarbonyl group. the present disclosure also provides a polymeric composition including the tds of formula (1) and a cable including the tds of formula (1).
