Abstract: provided are a sulfonic acid-functionalized copper metal-organic framework (hkust-1 (soh)), and a preparation method and use thereof. the hkust-1 (soh) is prepared by using a strongly acidic copper-containing industrial wastewater as a raw material, and trimesic acid (btc) and 5-sulfoisophthalic acid monosodium salt as ligands, and introducing a sulfonic acid group before synthesis, thereby obtaining the hkust-1 (soh).
