Abstract: a liquid discharge head includes a nozzle plate, a valve, an actuator, and an arm. the nozzle plate has a nozzle to discharge a liquid. the valve is movable in a first direction to open and close the nozzle. the valve includes a contacted portion in a part of the valve. the actuator is displaceable to move the valve relative to the nozzle. the arm is swingable by a displacement of the actuator to move the valve in the first direction between an open position and a closed position. the arm extends in a second direction. the arm has a connection portion, a contact portion, and an arm side face. the connection portion is connected to the actuator. the contact portion contacts the contacted portion of the valve in the first direction. the arm side face faces an outer circumferential face of the valve with a clearance.
