Abstract: the drive control unit performs the micro-vibration control such that (cb)/(da)�0.052≤m≤(cb)/(da)�0.365, in which a represents the diameter of the first nozzle portion, b represents the diameter of the second nozzle portion, c represents a height of the first nozzle portion, d represents a height of the second nozzle portion, and m represents a maximum retraction amount of a meniscus of the liquid during the micro-vibration control by the drive control unit.
