Abstract: a sprinkler assembly can include a sprinkler. the sprinkler can include a base including a body and an engagement tab extending from the body. the sprinkler can include a frame extending from the base. the sprinkler assembly can include a fitting coupled with the sprinkler. the fitting can include an engagement slot to receive the engagement tab of the sprinkler. the sprinkler assembly can include a seal slot defined by at least one of the base of the sprinkler and the fitting. the seal slot can receive a seal element to form a seal between the fitting and the sprinkler.
