Abstract: a method for alleviating uterine leiomyoma includes administering to a subject in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition which contains nicotinamide. the pharmaceutical composition further includes a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. the pharmaceutical composition is administered by a route selected from the group consisting of oral administration, parenteral administration, and topical administration.
