Abstract: a household appliance with an insulation arrangement for providing at least one of thermal insulation or acoustic insulation for a functional compartment of the household appliance. the insulation arrangement can be formed by placing a first insulation element in a mold, introducing a liquid plastic material into the mold to foam a second insulation element onto the first insulation element and thereby form the insulation arrangement, removing the insulation arrangement from the mold. the insulation arrangement can cover part of the functional compartment, and the first insulation element can be arranged between the functional compartment and the second insulation element. the first insulation element and the second insulation element can be attached one after another to the functional compartment.
