Abstract: an inhalation device that generates an aerosol from a base material including an aerosol source, includes: a first operation unit and a second operation unit configured to be operated by a user; and a control unit configured to control an operation of the inhalation device. each of the first operation unit and the second operation unit is configured to be covered with another member and enter a shielded state where it is difficult for the user to visually recognize the corresponding operation unit, and the control unit restricts a predetermined operation in the inhalation device until a predetermined release operation using the first operation unit and the second operation unit is performed.
