Abstract: a resistive heating element for an aerosol provision device including a substrate and one or more electrically conductive tracks provided on the substrate, wherein at least one of the one or more electrically conductive tracks includes a portion wherein the width or cross-sectional area of the one or more electrically conductive tracks is reduced in order to create an enhanced heating region, wherein the enhanced heating region is arranged to cause a visual indication to be generated on an aerosol generating article at the end of a session of use.
