Abstract: a light emitting device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a light emitting element having a first surface as a light emitting surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, a wavelength conversion layer that is provided on the first surface side and converts wavelength of light emitted from the light emitting element, and a reflection film collectively formed from at least a part of the second surface of the light emitting element to a side surface of the light emitting element and to a side surface of the wavelength conversion layer.
