Abstract: a display device includes a first conductive layer including first uppermost and lower layers, a first insulating layer covering the first conductive layer, a gate insulating layer on the first insulating layer, a second conductive layer on the gate insulating layer and including second uppermost and lower layers, a second insulating layer covering the second conductive layer, and a third conductive layer on the second insulating layer and connected to the first and second conductive layers through a first contact hole defined through the first and second insulating layers to expose a portion of the first uppermost layer and a second contact hole defined through the second insulating layer to expose a portion of the second uppermost layer. the third conductive layer is in contact with the portions of the first and second upper most layers exposed through the first and second contact holes.
