Abstract: provided is an electronic device including: a flat plate-shaped circuit board; and an antenna that is provided on the circuit board and has an antenna pattern that extends in a first direction parallel to a board surface of the circuit board; and a frame. at least a portion of the frame is electrically connected to the antenna via a ground-contacting surface of the circuit board and the frame has a main frame and a side frame. at least a portion of the main frame overlaps the circuit board when seen from a direction orthogonal to the board surface, and the side frame is electrically conductive, is connected to the main frame, and extends in a direction substantially orthogonal to the board surface. the electronic device performs transmission and/or reception of radio waves having a desired wavelength, using a composite antenna of the antenna and the side frame.
