METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CELL SWITCHING

Abstract: an apparatus for cell switching, applicable to a terminal equipment, includes: a first receiver configured to receive a mac ce (control element) from a first network node; and a processor circuitry configured to switch a serving cell to a cell indicated by the mac ce, wherein the switching a serving cell to a cell indicated by the mac ce comprises at least one of a l1 reset procedure, a l2 reset procedure, or processing a timer maintained by an rrc (radio resource control) layer.
