COMMUNICATING NON-ACCESS STRATUM INFORMATION IN INTERNET PROTOCOL MESSAGES VIA A WIRELINE CONNECTION

Abstract: in some implementations, a client device may send to an access gateway function (agf) device, and via a wireline connection, a first internet protocol (ip) message that includes non-access stratum (nas) information. the client device may receive from the agf device, via the wireline connection, and based on sending the first ip message, a second ip message that includes acknowledgement information. the nas information may be included in a service data unit (sdu) that is encapsulated in the first ip message. the wireline connection may be a user datagram protocol (udp) wireline connection or a transmission control protocol (tcp) wireline connection.
