METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING RESOURCE RESERVATION PATH, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND APPARATUS

Abstract: a method for establishing a resource reservation path, a communication method, and an apparatus are provided. the communication method includes: a source node sends a data packet, where a packet header of the data packet includes a topology identifier field, the topology identifier field indicates a type of a forwarding path corresponding to the data packet, the type includes a first type and a second type, and quality of service of a first forwarding path corresponding to the first type is higher than quality of service of a second forwarding path corresponding to the second type; and a receive end of the data packet forwards the data packet based on the topology identifier field in the data packet. the first forwarding path is a resource reservation path or referred to as a reservation path.
