Abstract: a communication network for connecting a plurality of electronic processing units to one another, the network having at least one switch which has at least one input port and one output port for connecting it to the electronic processing units and which is arranged to transmit a data frame of a data stream between at least two of the electronic processing units, the switch having at least one electronic circuit that is arranged to control a transit time of the data frame between the two electronic processing units.
