MULTI-DIMENSIONAL CHANNEL MEASUREMENT RESOURCE CONFIGURATION

Abstract: methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. in some systems, a first network entity and a second network entity may exchange multi-dimensional channel measurement resource information. the second network entity may transmit control signaling to the first network entity to indicate a channel measurement resource set including channel measurement resources associated with multiple dimensions. the channel measurement resources may be indexed according to a first set of indices in a first dimension and a second set of indices in a second dimension. alternatively, the first network entity may map the channel measurement resources to the first set of indices and the second set of indices. each index may indicate dimensional information in the respective dimension. the first network entity may select a receive beam to receive a reference signal via one of the channel measurement resources based on the dimensional information associated with the channel measurement resource.
