Abstract: a power transmission apparatus that transmits power wirelessly to a power receiving apparatus by using power supplied from a power supply apparatus includes a first authentication unit configured to execute device authentication with the power supply apparatus, a second authentication unit configured to execute device authentication with the power receiving apparatus, and a control unit that performs negotiation related to transmission power with the power receiving apparatus based on a result of the device authentication by the first authentication unit and a result of the device authentication by the second authentication unit.
