Abstract: a wireless power transmitter is configured to (i) detect a presence of an object and (ii) after detecting presence of the object, carrying out a first beaconing process for detecting a wireless power receiver. based on the first beaconing process, the wireless power transmitter is configured to (iii) detect a given wireless power receiver, (iv) determine a coupling level between the wireless power transmitter and the given wireless power receiver, and (v) thereafter configure the voltage level of the dc voltage signal that is provided as input to the inverter and thereby configuring a power level of the wireless power output produced by the transmission antenna in accordance with the determined coupling level.
