Abstract: the disclosure relates to an electronic device and method for battery management, wherein the electronic device may comprise: a memory storing instructions, a battery, a communication circuit, and at least one processor, comprising processing circuitry, electrically connected to the memory, the battery, and the communication circuit, wherein at least one processor, individually and/or collectively, is configured to execute the instructions and to: charge the battery with power applied from a first external electronic device based on the electronic device being connected to the first external electronic device through the communication circuit; identify a recharge entry time for the battery to reach a set recharge voltage after the battery is fully charged; identify a remaining battery capacity based on the recharge entry time; identify a life span level of the battery on the basis of the remaining battery capacity; and change the set full charge voltage and the set recharge voltage of the battery on the basis of life span level.
