Abstract: in a case where the communication device is in an online state, a controller of a communication device receives, via a communication interface, target data transmitted from an external device by a first communication method which is push-type communication. in a case where the communication device transitions from an offline state to the online state, the controller transmits, via the communication interface, a request signal to the external device by a second communication method which is pull-type communication. the controller receives, via the communication interface, the target data from the external device as a response to the request signal by the second communication method. the controller determines whether there is unreceived target data in the external device. until determining that there is no unreceived target data in the external device, the controller repeats transmitting the request signal to the external device by the second communication method.
