Abstract: a radar sensor includes: a waveguide interface configured to contact a waveguide including a first aperture that is at least partially vertically aligned with a second aperture in the waveguide; a radio frequency (rf) feed; a first wing that is coplanar with the rf feed and the waveguide interface and that electrically connects the rf feed with the waveguide interface; a first electrically conductive layer that is connected to a ground potential, that includes a third aperture that is at least partially aligned with the first and second apertures, and that includes a second wing that forms a portion of the third aperture.
