HANDHELD SHOWERHEAD AND WALL MOUNT ASSEMBLY

Abstract: a handheld showerhead assembly is provided which is especially constructed for handheld use. the handheld showerhead assembly includes a mushroom shaped finger lock having a shaft and a radially extending flange. in addition, the handheld showerhead assembly includes a wall mount. the wall mount includes a backplate for attaching to a wall and a cup. the cup includes a front side having two teeth separated to form a center recess. the cup is sufficiently large to receive the finger lock's radially extending flange, and the center recess is sized sufficiently large to receive the finger lock's shaft. preferably, the handheld portion of the showerhead includes radially and longitudinally extending ridges for increased gripping capability.
