Abstract: an ultraviolet (uv) sterilizer for a vehicle includes a main body part mounted in the vehicle. the main body part has a storage area formed therein. a sterilization part is stored in the storage area and can be deployed from the storage area to selectively emit ultraviolet rays to a vehicle interior. a driving part is coupled to the main body part and configured to provide rotational driving force to allow the sterilization part to be selectively withdrawn into and deployed from the storage area. a controller is configured to selectively control operations of the main body part, the sterilization part, and the driving part.
