Abstract: the present invention relates to antibodies comprising tags that can be covalently conjugated to the primary amino group of a linker in the presence of a microbial transglutaminase. also provided by the invention are methods for producing an antibody-linker-conjugate by mixing an antibody with a linker and a microbial transglutaminase. also provided are antibody-linker conjugates and antibody-drug-conjugates producible according to the inventive method and a kit of parts comprising a buffer and a microbial transglutaminase.
