Abstract: the invention described herein provides antibodies or antigen-binding fragment thereof specific for an epitope within the variant exon v6 or v9 of the cd44 gene (cd44v6 or cd44v9), antibody-drug-conjugate (adc) thereof, and other derivative comprising the antibodies or antigen-binding fragment thereof. the invention also provides nucleic acid molecules encoding the same, and methods of making the same. the invention further provides pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same, and the use of the same in treating diseases or in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of the diseases, such as cancer.
