Abstract: onion extract, the preparation method thereof and the use for promoting hair growth thereof are provided, the preparation method comprises extracting an onion sample by subcritical water extraction, then obtaining an onion extract, wherein the extract temperature is 120� c.�200� c.; the extract pressure is 1300�1700 psi; and the extract time is 5�45 minutes.
