HAIR STYLING COMPOSITION

Abstract: a hair styling composition containing chitosan, and a cationic acrylate polymer. the cationic acrylate polymer may contain a 2 methacryloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride polymer or copolymer, and may be a polyquaternium-37 and/or polyquaternium-32. the combination of chitosan and cationic acrylate polymer provides a hair styling composition with desirable shear-thinning properties, while being sufficiently stable.
