Abstract: provided herein is a multi-modal hair care composition comprising: 1 to 99 wt. % of a cationically modified guar blend comprising: (a) 1 to 99 wt. % of at least one cationically modified guar having weight average molecular weight in the range of from about 50 to about 500 kda, and (b) 1 to 99 wt. % of at least one cationically modified guar having weight average molecular weight in the range of from about 500 to about 1500 kda; and 1 to 99 wt. % of at least one cosmetic ingredient.
