Abstract: the invention relates to a milling body for producing a dental molding, the milling body comprising a solid body made of a biocompatible first material, a cavity for receiving a fluid polymerizable plastics material being arranged on an upper side of the milling body, the cavity having a bottom and, starting from the edge of the bottom, the cavity being laterally delimited by a circumferential wall, the circumferential wall being annular, and the first material forming the bottom and the solid body extending as far as a lower side of the milling body, which lower side is arranged to be opposite the upper side of the milling body.
