Abstract: an aerosol generating article configured for being heated but not burnt includes an aerosol generating section and a filter section; the aerosol generating section being wrapped by a wrapper and including at least a tobacco-based aerosol generating substrate including homogenized tobacco material and/or reconstituted tobacco wherein the aerosol generating section further includes a porous aerosol generating reservoir containing a foam including an aerosol forming agent and a foam forming agent.
