FREQUENCY DOMAIN RESOURCE ALLOCATION INDICATIONS FOR TRANSFORM PRECODING IN MULTIPLE TRANSMIT RECEIVE POINT DEPLOYMENTS

Abstract: methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. a user equipment (ue) may receive a downlink control information (dci) message that includes a frequency domain resource allocation (fdra). the fdra may indicate a set of resource blocks (rbs), and the ue uses the indicated set of rbs to identify a first set of rbs for uplink communications using a first transmission configuration indicator (tci) state and a second set of rbs for uplink communications using a second tci state, both of which satisfy a threshold for performing transform precoding. the ue may transform precoding the first uplink signaling and the second uplink signaling based on the first and second sets of rbs satisfying the threshold for performing transform precoding.
