SIGNAL TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS

Abstract: a signal transmission method includes: a first node sends a first preamble on a first channel; and the first node transmits a signal frame on the first channel, where the first preamble indicates a type of the signal frame. because the first preamble transmitted by the first node on the first channel may indicate a type of a signal frame subsequently transmitted by the first node, different types of signal frames are indicated by the first preamble in different scenarios, so that signal transmission requirements in different scenarios can be met. for example, in a ranging scenario, the first preamble may indicate that the signal frame is a ranging frame. an apparatus is configured to perform the transmission method.
