SIGNAL INTELLIGENCE DATA COLLECTION

Abstract: a radio signal surveillance (rss) device comprises a plurality of radio transceivers of multiple wireless communication technology types and a software-defined radio. the rss device may be used to scan for signal intelligence data via at least one of one or more transceivers or the software-defined radio that monitors radio signals of one or more radio signal emission devices. the rss device may send the signal intelligence data via a secure communication channel to a data collection platform. the rss device may further receive a command from the data collection platform to deactivate or activate at least one radio transceiver of one or more wireless communication technology types and reconfigure according to the command. the rss device is then used to scan for additional signal intelligence data from radio signals of one or more radio signal emission devices.
