Abstract: systems and methods for transmitting and receiving user equipment (ue) capability information. a ue includes a transceiver and a processor. the processor is configured to receive, via the transceiver, a ue capability request. the processor is also configured to transmit, via the transceiver and in response to the ue capability request, ue capability information for 3rd generation partnership project (3gpp) new radio (nr) release 17 (rel-17) enhanced channel state information (csi) reporting for a single downlink control information (dci) multiple transmission and reception point (multi-trp) non-coherent joint transmission (ncjt) scheme.
