Abstract: a multilayer electronic component includes: a body including a dielectric layer and internal electrodes, and an external electrode including a connection portion disposed on the body, and a band portion in contact with the connection portion, and the external electrode may include a nickel electrode layer connected to the internal electrode and disposed on the connection portion, a glass layer disposed on the band portion, and a copper electrode layer disposed on the nickel electrode layer and the glass layer.
