Abstract: a first reading unit reads member identification information for uniquely identifying each of customers and a second reading unit reads commodity identification information of a commodity carried into the fitting area by the customer and commodity information of a commodity carried out of the fitting area. a collection and storage unit collects and stores, together with date-and-time information, membership information indicated by the member identification information when the customer enters the fitting area in association with commodity information indicated by the commodity identification information at the time of entering, and collects and stores, together with date-and-time information, membership information indicated by the member identification information when the customer exits the fitting area in association with commodity information indicated by the commodity identification information at the time of exiting. a control unit compares, when the customer exits the fitting area, the commodity information.
