Abstract: an image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium includes a photoconductor, a charger, a light source, and a reflector. the charger charges a surface of the photoconductor. the light source emits charge eliminating light that discharges the surface of the photoconductor. the reflector reflects the charge eliminating light to apply reflected light to the surface of the photoconductor.
