Abstract: a measurement apparatus includes: a light emitting unit, a first light unit, and a control unit. the light emitting unit emits measurement light toward a measurement area. the first light receiving unit that receives reflected light from the measurement area. the control unit controls the light emitting unit and the first light receiving unit and calculates a distance to an object in the measurement area based on a light receiving result of the first light receiving unit. the measurement apparatus further includes a second light receiving that receives, among pieces of light from the measurement area, light having a wavelength different from that of the measurement light.
