Abstract: a continuous monitor having an enhanced visual alarm including a printed circuit board, one or more sensors, one or more light emitting devices and a translucent housing is disclosed. the printed circuit board and the one or more light emitting devices may be disposed within the translucent housing. in one aspect, a light signal may visibly illuminate the translucent housing providing a visual alarm for an observer.
