Abstract: a method of measuring sensor response for a sample is disclosed. the sample is exposed to an electrochemical aptamer-based (eab) sensor, where the sensor includes an electrode and one or more aptamers having redox tags. next, an interrogation is performed by applying an abrupt voltage pulse to the electrode. two or more data samples are collected at different time values, where each data sample is a redox tag current value. then at least one measure of the sample is identified using the data samples.
