Abstract: this invention, in embodiments, relates to a roofing material having a top edge, a bottom edge that is opposite to the top edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge that is opposite to the first side edge. the roofing material further includes (i) at least one water channel that extends along the first side edge, from the top edge to the bottom edge of the roofing material, and (ii) at least one attachment tab that is disposed on the first side edge. this invention further relates to a roofing system that includes such a roofing material and a method of installing thereof.
