Abstract: a cooling arrangement for a beverage dispensing system includes a housing and a pressure source for applying pressure on a beverage container to dispense a beverage; wherein inlet apertures and outlet apertures are arranged in the side wall of the housing for allowing airflow into the housing; and an air channel extends between the inlet aperture and the outlet aperture. heat exchange means are arranged for receiving heat from the beverage container; and a condenser is arranged in the air channel in thermal connection with the heat exchange means for emitting heat received from the beverage container to the air channel and provide efficient cooling. the housing may be defined horizontally by a rounded hourglass shape for a compact and fail-safe form factor.
