Abstract: a control method of a converter is provided. the converter is configured to convert an input alternating current signal into a direct current signal to charge a battery, the converter includes a rectification circuit unit, and the control method includes: generating a reference carrier signal according to a current voltage value of the battery, a target voltage value of the battery, and the alternating current signal, when receiving a charging instruction; generating a first type of driving signal for controlling operation of the rectification circuit unit at least according to the reference carrier signal, wherein the first type of driving signal is at least configured to control a target power component in the rectification circuit unit to be in a normally off state; and controlling the operation of the rectification circuit unit by using the first type of driving signal.
